Social Media Campaign

Social Media is the place to be in this day and age.  We are not able to be without it everyday as a society.  This does pose some challenges but also is one of the greatest things to occur: it allows us to communicate in ways we never could before!

What makes this post so important is that we are announcing a new campaign that will start later this month.  This campaign will be designed to help get out the word that your support matters, and as a thank you, we are going to repay the favor with merchandise.  This makes your support of us our support of you as well.

Many of you who will read this will look over it and move on.  Our goal is to reach those who want to be a part of something like this.  Join us in the mission to make a difference in this world.  Becoming a member is easy and rewarding.

We are looking forward to making this planet better for all of us, and our supporters are the reason we can make these things happen.  We are always welcoming new members and are excited to see what we can do with the support of our friends and members!

A New Era For Cincinnati Exotics Animal Center

It is amazing to think that animals have continued to adapt to what people are doing.  This means that we have to adapt as well.  That began earlier this year as we went silent for a while so that we could focus on our goals and build the best plan we possibly could.

We just recently launched a brand new website, but still at the same address.  This website is a sleeker, more user friendly design and it is an amazing look.

This post is not about a website though.  It is about our mission, our passion.  We took the first steps in our new plan over the last month or two and are beginning to already see the difference it has made.  Our drive has been renewed, undaunted by the issues that we have faced.  That has led to many new things happening for our company and the wonderful people that are a part of the journey:

  • New logo:

  • New business partners:

  • A new design for the animal center, which will be revealed to the public this February.  It is a more state-of-the-art design and is much more exciting to see coming to fruition one day.

There are many more things but if I told you everything today, that would ruin the fun of the future blogs, wouldn't it?

One thing still remains true: we love animals and are dedicated to making their stories known, as well as helping them have a second chance.  That is why we do what we do and we will never stop until we achieve our goal.

We need your help to do it though.  Can we count on you to be a member of our mission and help animals that need a second chance, such as a scared raccoon who is hurt or the orphaned bird that can no longer fly?  Join our mission today, and you will see an amazing thing happen: animals getting a second chance at life.

We are Cincinnati Exotics Animal Center, and we are still living by our motto:
"Protecting Our Planet Today, to Save Tomorrow"

Fall And Winter Projects Begin To Take Shape

Never a Dull Moment

Wildlife and domestic animal work never takes a break.  It takes several people to operate and work on funding for our work.  While the fall and winter seasons are here, we are continuing to work on our projects.

Center Update

We are still working on the finalization of all of our plans with the Board of Directors.  We are also looking into funding support.  If you are able to help us with funding issues, please feel free to contact us at customersupport@cincyexotics.com.  We appreciate everything that we are given.

A Return To Social Media

We Are Back On Social Media: And Proud Of It

We recently took some time to focus on other matters that were important to our work.  Many of our followers and friends expressed their love, encouragement, and support for what we have been doing.  This has not only made us feel that we are making a difference, but it has also done something we didn't think could happen: it made our passion for what we do even stronger.

This is a brief post, but as the Founder of Cincinnati Exotics, I wanted to thank each and every one of you for everything that you have done and continue to do for us.  I love all of you and will see you soon.  Until then, let's continue to make a difference.

New Friends In Animal Work

Cincinnati Exotics is proud to have new members to our team.

The Bob and Norma Cogar Memorial Animal Shelter will handle all of our domestic animal care needs.  These highly trained, caring professionals will help make sure that any animal that comes into our care is given the best care until they find a new home.

The Wayne and Joyce Beckham Memorial World Wildlife Education Center will continue to educate visitors about all wildlife around the world.  This group will continue our work with all wildlife outside of our wild bird conservation work.
This group will also work under guidelines set by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), US Department of Fish and Wildlife, International Union for Conserving Nature (IUCN), and will also use tree identification guidelines from the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA.  A tree care organization championing the correct care of trees worldwide, of which our founder is studying to become an ISA Certified Arborist).

New Beginnings

It has been some time since I have gotten on the blog to write.  So much has happened but now that things are falling into place, I am ready to return to this platform.

There comes a time when any business or private individual needs to look at the direction of that entity is heading.  Cincinnati Exotics recently did just that, and while changes were needed, it was because we have finally found the help needed with our local wildlife to be able to move forward with our initial goal.

I am proud of the work done by Cincinnati Exotics staff and volunteers in spreading the word about wildlife conservation.  Our position in this field can now change some, as we have found an amazing bunch of ladies that will be happy to take care of local wildlife while we focus on birds and domestic animal needs.  Nature's Nurses, based in Mason, Ohio, is a wonderful group with the enthusiasm and dedication that I have hoped to find in this field from others.

It is with great pride that I announce that now that Nature's Nurses has gotten set up and is continuing the work that each of these wonderful people did on their own, Cincinnati Exotics will no longer offer wildlife services, except for when Nature's Nurses needs our support or a bird is involved.

Our work will consist of wild bird conservation, education, habitat restoration, and rescue.  We will also maintain focus on all domestic animals, including birds.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our growth and transformation.  I look forward to continuing our mission to save animals from extinction, and to help save people from losing what many of us value so much: our Earth.
